用法
一、 及物動(dòng)詞
1、說(shuō)，講：
例句：What did you say？ 你方才說(shuō)啥？
Say no more！ 甭說(shuō)，我全懂了！
2、標(biāo)明，聲稱，聲明：
例句：Please say it clearly and simply.
請(qǐng)短小精悍地說(shuō)清你的意思。
3、把…說(shuō)切當(dāng)，判定：
例句：It’s hard to say what is wrong.
很難說(shuō)出了啥缺點(diǎn)。
4、斷語(yǔ)，判定，建議：
例句：I say her plan is the better one.
我以為她的方案是個(gè)好主意。
5、估摸著說(shuō)，約莫，估量：
例句：I’d say he’ll come at 9 o’clock.
我估量他將在九點(diǎn)鐘回來(lái)。
二、不及物動(dòng)詞
1、說(shuō)話;宣告：
例句：He refused to say. 他回絕說(shuō)出來(lái)。
2、表達(dá)觀念：
例句：I’ll not want to say in front of the reporters. 我不肯在記者面前議論我的觀念。
三、名詞
1、 講話權(quán)，講話時(shí)機(jī)
例句：We shall all have a say in choosing the next president.
在挑選下一任總統(tǒng)方面，咱們都將有權(quán)表達(dá)意見(jiàn)。
The students wanted more say in the running of the university.
學(xué)生們想在大學(xué)辦理方面享有更多的講話權(quán)。
2、要說(shuō)的話;所說(shuō)的話
例句：Let him have his say. 讓他把話說(shuō)出來(lái)。
