用法
point作名詞，詞義非常豐富，常用詞義有：
表示“尖頭”，如：the point of a pin 針尖
表示“小數(shù)點”，如：five point one two 5.12
表示“點、時刻”，如：a turning point 轉折點
表示“（計量度數(shù)的）點、度”，如：the freezing point 冰點
表示“分數(shù)、得分”，如：score 10 points （比賽）得10分
point作名詞時的常用搭配：
at the point of（就要…的時候），如：She was at the point of leaving when I arrived. 當我到達時，她正要離開。
in point（適當?shù)模纾篴 case in point 一個適當?shù)氖吕?/p>
make a point of（必定要…），如：Father makes a point of going to bed before ten. 父親必定在十點以前睡覺。
