是可數名詞。只有在當動詞或修飾功能的詞組時 scissor 這個詞才會以單數形式出現,在單純當成“剪刀”使用時,都是以復數 scissors 的形式;
當表示計數單位時用 pair,一把剪刀用 a pair of scissors來表達
