As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are always feeling on the go from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down. Therefore, stress goes hand in hand with the life in a competitive society.
Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They are of the opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline and hence endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body.

the tray didnt just hit the floor. it crashed and smashed his lunch to pieces. serves you damn well right, i thought. you were staring again.
he stood stock-still and looked down at the food. suddenly i got up and moved towards him. i hadnt intended to, hadnt wanted to help him. i called to the woman behind the counter. she closed her mouth and brought a cloth to clean up the mess. i picked up crockery, put it on the tray. there was a soppy stain on his trousers and through it you could see just how bony his knees were. like the rest of him. all bones, dangling jacket and hanging trousers. stooped shoulders and mile-long arms. then he smiled at me. a wonderful smile that creased up his worn face and totally surprised me.

i shoved the tray at him and went back to my table.
i worked at a large publishing company and ate lunch in the canteen. i had noticed him because he stared at me. he was weird-looking. his hair was badly cut and his clothes were ancient and dull; too-short corduroys, baggy at the knees and colour-less sweaters, dotted with fluff. often he sat alone and just picked at his food. or he read and jotted things down.
a few days after the crash, he stopped at the table i was sharing with mark from proof reading, and asked if he might sit down. i said the seats were taken and continued eating. he apologised and took his tray off somewhere else.
"whats your problem, leanna?" asked mark.
"no problem. its just that i like to choose who i share my mealtimes with."
"a bit rough on the old chap though."
i shrugged.
it was mark who told me more about him. he had gone over to scrounge a cigarette. by the time he came back to the table, i had my head stuck into the news-paper.
"interesting chap. sub-editor. been all over the world," said mark.
i decided to find the newspaper more interesting and finally mark shut up and finished smoking.
"asked your name," he said.
"he what?"
"yeah."
"whatd you say?"
"leanna, of course."
i folded the newspaper.
"ive loads of work this afternoon."
"said you look familiar," said mark. "like someone he knew."

the following week i took along a book to read during lunchtime. when i got into the lift on my floor, he was already inside. he greeted me so i had to reply but i didnt smile. we were alone and that worried me. i wondered whether i should get out at the net floor and walk up the stairs to the canteen. dont panic, i thought. just because hes stared at you for ages doesnt mean hes going to do anything.

善于仿寫
一些同學的辦法往往是背一堆范文，然后再到考場上進行一個“剪切”、“粘貼”的工作，真正的模仿重點永遠要放在一定的句式結構上，而非個別的詞匯。有一個句式說：“for the simple reason that”表示某種現象的原因是什么，用在高考(課程)寫作中，我們就可以拿來解釋為什么自行車在中國如此的流行：“The bicycle is very popular in China for the simple reason that”。然而，很多同學一談到原因仍然是“because”。如果要表示“總是能夠”的概念，很多同學提筆就會寫canalways，但理想的句子應該是用雙重否定表示強烈的肯定，用neverfailto。

注意英語中一些表達上的習慣。比如在正式文體的寫作中，很少用“itisn’t”這樣的略縮形式，而往往是一板一眼地寫作“itisnot”。同理，在正式文體中的日期一般不縮寫，阿拉伯數字一般會用英文表達(特別長的數字除外)。

字跡清楚美觀的作文常會受到閱卷老師的青睞，而字跡潦草，亂涂亂畫的作文則被老師詬病，并直接影響到老師的評分。因此，建議考生考前不妨做做“表面文章”，每天就當消遣放松般地練字10-15分鐘。(有心人曾經做過實驗, 把一篇內容完全一樣的書面表達給十個人謄寫，然后給不同的人打分，就因為整潔度不同，最高分和最低分差別有將近十分! )如果本來字就不是特別漂亮，那么至少要學著寫得清楚。一個單詞各字母的間距和字間距都需適當，字體過大過小的書寫都是應該避免的。臨考前作業的書寫特別要有意識地寫得工整些，以免在考場上手忙腳亂，涂涂改改，留下遺憾。
2. 良好的讀寫習慣
英語學習猶如一塊“明鏡臺”，須“時時勤拂拭，莫使惹塵埃”，而勤讀寫在臨考前特別

3. 良好的作業習慣
臨考前每天的作業要以限時訓練的形式完成，沉浸其中全身心投入地去完成每天的作業，限時作業一方面使自己更能專注高效的去完成任務，另一方面也在為自己考試能更好地進入狀態做準備。一般情況下，單選完形兩項限時完成時間為25分鐘左右，閱讀(任務型閱讀也包括在內)40-45分鐘，20-25分鐘左右構思及完成書面表達，在加上20分鐘左右的聽力，120分鐘的時間已經只剩下10分鐘左右，還要涂卡花去5分鐘，再檢查一遍一卷涂卡是否正確。
4. 良好的考試習慣

寫作教學是高中英語教學的重要任務之一，是高考英語試題的重要組成部分，也是高三英語學習的一個難點(英語教學中的一個薄弱環節)。從近幾年高考試題中書面表達所占分值比例及其發展趨勢來看，其語言寫作在高考中占有越來越重要地位。不少學生雖然經過高一、高二的學習，但由于新授課教學任務重，大多數教師為了趕進度，注重知識點的傳授，在日常的教學中對寫作這一教學環節重視不夠甚至無暇顧及寫作課。所以多數高三學生還是對寫作充滿畏難情緒，且寫作質量低下，錯誤百出。如何在高三學生時間緊、任務重的情況下，省時高效地提高學生的英語寫作能力呢?經過多年送高三的探索與實踐，筆者認為運用模仿范文寫作的方法對于提高學生寫作水平是一種便捷、有效的途徑。下面結合近幾年的教學實踐來談談自己的一些措施和方法。
俗話說，模仿是最好的老師。“臨本描摹”自古以來就是是一種有效的學習手段。 “熟讀唐詩三百首，不會吟詩也會吟”說明了模仿在寫作中的作用。模仿不僅是母語習得的.重要途徑，同時也是二語習得過程中一種行之有效的方法。特別是在非自然語境下的外語學習，學習者只有通過各種途徑獲得范例，在模仿、對比分析中掌握語言規律，才能有效地培養自己的語言能力。仿寫(Imitating Writing)，也有人稱模寫，(模仿作為英語寫作的有效方法之一,指的是仿照現成的詞語、短語、句子、段落、文章,甚至中心思想來寫出與模仿對象相似的英文語言形式。)是指導學生模仿英語中比較精彩的詞句、段落進行模仿寫作。范文模仿法是一種行之有效的寫作教學法提高寫作的一個捷徑。模仿范例能直接提高學生謀篇布局和銜接上下文的能力。
那么在高三英語教學中，主要采取以下的方法進行范文模仿寫作的訓練。
一、 搜集、并分類整理范文。
高考對書面表達的考查內容涉及記敘文、說明文、議論文、應用文(書信、調查報告)、表格及漢語提示類材料作文、看圖作文、開放性作文等。由教師提供各種各樣的不同體裁、題材的英語寫作范文和模板。范文可選擇全國各地歷年高考作文，學生優秀習作。英語作文模板有圖表作文、書信作文模板、話題作文、對比觀點作文。具體內容包括：說明原因型、對比觀點類、 解決方法題型、明利弊題型、求職信、歡迎詞、通知、廣播稿圖畫、個人想法、寫信。期中議論文的框架模板包括：(1)不同觀點列舉型、( 選擇型 )(2)利弊型的議論文 ( 3 ) 答題性議論文 圖表作文的框架 ( 4 ) 諺語警句性議論文
二、 采取“一讀二背三模仿”三環節。
1、對每一篇要練習的范文，首先要理解范文并讀熟。反復地大聲地朗讀對于培養學生的語感有著積極的作用。其次在閱讀過程中，教師要指導學生認清體裁，分析文章，講明各種文體的要求,并給予必要的提示。范文在結構、格式、內容要點、語法修辭、大小寫和標點符號與語言習慣上給學生以導向，認真觀察注意文章的主體時態和語態。學生了解作文題可分自由式、半控制式和全控制式。高考的“書面表達”題歷來采用全控制式，亦稱指導性寫作。它的體裁、內容和篇幅都有明確的限定。
2、熟背英語范文，出口成章。學習語言首先是模仿，而模仿和背誦是密不可分的，對提高寫作水平很有幫助，特別是當自己還寫不出地道的英語句子時更是如此。通過背誦，熟悉并掌握一些英文的習慣用法，了解英美人的思維方式，使自己的英語表達地道準確，從中可以體會出命題人對書面表達的目的和要求。特別注意范文中好的詞、句子結構、過渡詞要熟記在心。總結出高考寫作中出現頻率極高的一些高級詞匯，高級句型，讓學生隨身攜帶，隨時記憶、隨時復習、隨時擴充，背誦是增強語感的好方法，也是積累語言材料的好方法。在范文背誦過程中，在寫作實踐過程中，你可能會豁然開朗：提高寫作原來真有捷徑!
3、模仿訓練
學生通過讀、背連個環節，積累了句法、詞匯等知識和素材，從范文中得到一些啟發，這時再進行模仿訓練，熟練運用所學的各方面的技巧，高質高效地完成寫作任務。一般計劃是:每周安排一種類型的寫作，一至二篇范文，先教師課堂講解，然后學生課堂上或課外模仿范文寫短文二至三篇。
三、 模仿訓練(注意事項)遵循的原則
