    1.To learn the names of food ,some phrases學(xué)習(xí)食物名詞和詞組

    Important & difficult points and explanation[重難點(diǎn)解析]:

    1. -They eat a lot of beef in England. 在英國(guó),人們牛肉吃的多.

    -So do we. 我們也是這樣.

    在英語(yǔ)中,說(shuō)“甲如何如何,乙也如何如何”,為了避免重復(fù)第一句話,第二句話常用so + be(have或其它助動(dòng)詞、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞)+主語(yǔ)來(lái)表達(dá),并且前后兩句的時(shí)態(tài)、助動(dòng)詞均要求一致,如:

    Mary likes Chinese. So does Tom. 瑪麗喜歡漢語(yǔ),湯姆也喜歡。

    His mother went shopping, and so did her mother. 他的媽媽去買東西了,她的媽媽也去了。 另外注意本課中People eat a lot of. =People often eat, a lot of= often“經(jīng)常”

    2. few, a few, little, a little

    few和little的意思是否定的,表示“很少”或“幾乎沒(méi)有”;

    a few和a little的意思是肯定的,表示“有一些、有一點(diǎn)”。

    few, a few用于修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)。而little, a little 修飾不可數(shù)名詞。

    如:I have a little money. 我有一點(diǎn)錢。

    He has a few friends, but he has few good friends. 他有幾個(gè)朋友,但是沒(méi)有什么好朋友。

    3. Help yourself to some soup. 隨便喝些湯吧。

    help yourself“隨便吃”常用于招待客人時(shí)客套語(yǔ)。說(shuō)吃喝某東西時(shí),常加介詞to。如:

    ①Help yourself to some fish. 請(qǐng)隨便吃些魚(yú)吧。

    4. Will you like to have dinner with me tonight?

    (1)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞will 和you連用,在這里表示邀請(qǐng)或請(qǐng)求的意思。

    Will you come in , please? Will you stay for lunch ?

    (2)like sth. :表示對(duì)一般事物的喜歡, like doing 習(xí)慣行的動(dòng)作, like to do 一次性的具體的動(dòng)作. 如: He likes books.

    Tom likes swimming in summer.

    Look at page i .Have students ask and answer questions as in the model.

    Step 3 SB page 1, part 2 learn and discuss

    Discuss the question with several students to give some examples.

    Then get the students to work in pairs.

    Step 4 SB page 1,part 3 Puzzle dialogues

    Explain the points of this part. Have them practice using the expressions in the dialogues. Also encourage them to speak freely as they would at a dinner. (give some help)

    WB lesson 57, Ex.3 can be used to reinforce the practice in Part3 on page 1.
